Three Going on Thirteen

We cannot believe that it's already been three years since we received that phone call to meet Danielle and our social worker at the hospital. The emotions we had those first days after Kyla was born are still so vivid. Yet we look at Kyla now and it's difficult to imagine her as that little five-pound baby we brought home in clothes that were too big for her and a carseat that seemed to swallow her up.

Now we look on this little "big" girl who seems like she could already be in kindergarten with how smart she is, and at times has the beginnings of a teenage attitude, and who definitely has the confidence and outgoing personality that outshine her parents!

Here is just a peek at her third birthday party, which featured all things princesses. We had such a blast!
