Fun-Filled Weekend
We had a great weekend with friends and family--and Kyla enjoyed (nearly) every minute of it! :) We saw the grandparents, met with Danielle (birthmom), had a meeting at the adoption agency, met aunts/uncles, great aunts/uncles, cousins, etc, and had a wonderful shower with friends and family! Kyla loved all the attention and did pretty well considering this was the most stimulation she's had. Here's a few pictures from the weekend...

Growing Like a Weed
Whew, the weeks are flying by. We always heard people say to cherish every moment because they go so fast. Well, that's certainly true. We cannot believe she's coming up on 1 month old.
She is such a wonderful baby. She eats well, sleeps all the time, and rarely cries. We feel like it's all a bit surreal still, and we couldn't be happier! The lack of sleep can be tough; I won't lie. But when we look in Kyla's sweet face, it's all worth it.
As proof that she's eating and sleeping so well: At her 1-week appointment, she weighed 4 pounds 15 ounces. At her 2-week appointment, she weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces! We can't wait to see what she weighs at her 1-month visit.
