DisneyWorld!

What fun we had at DisneyWorld over New Year's! Kyla loved it, and was such a trooper, as always. She did great on the plane rides, even though our trip there was a late-night flight. She enjoyed sleeping in her "special" beds, which included the floor in one hotel and the pull-out sofa in the other. She enjoyed all of the attention she received from family, of course. She was especially enamored with Lauren and Maddie, who were her little mamas the entire time, telling her what to do and helping her with everything.

We saw lots of fun characters, although it took Kyla a little time to warm up to them. When we had breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and his friends, we had to tell her she was saying hi, and then she got over her nervousness and almost didn't want to leave them alone. She kept trying to walk by Tigger and touch his tail! She did great with Mary Poppins, who was so sweet and took her hand and talked to her while walking the few steps to the photo spot. Kyla also loved the princesses, and did pretty good standing in line to see them. Kyla enjoyed the rides, but was still a little scared by any that were dark or had loud noises. She didn't cry but would sometimes just hide her face or grip us tightly.

We know she remembers a lot of what she saw, as she'll talk about seeing the princesses or riding Dumbo every now and then. We can't wait to go again!
